ACH Electronic Funds Transfer
The ACH Transfer System allows you to electronically transfer money from your bank account to your Perception Capital HK account. With this service you can select to make periodic deposits into your account or transfer money on demand without a set transfer schedule.
Set Up Your Initial ACH Profile Online
To initiate an ACH Profile Setup, please login to your account and go to "My Accounts" -> "Deposit/Transfer" -> "Bank Profile".

- Download our Electronic Funds Transfer (ACH) Agreement and input your information. Review, Print and Sign the form.
- Attach a voided check or most recent bank statement.

Amend Existing ACH Transfer
- Download our Electronic Funds Transfer (ACH) Agreement and input your information.
- Attach a voided check, a copy of the most recent bank statement and a copy of a valid government-issued Photo ID for each account holder.
- Online Document Upload, Email, Fax, or Mail the above documents to the same address above.
The setup process typically takes 2-3 business days. You will receive two small deposits in your bank account from Perception Capital HK. Please review your bank account activity and enter the two small deposit values in the "Bank Profile Setting" within 10 calendar days.
Note: Electronic Funds Transfer (ACH) is available to all Perception Capital HK accounts and the linked bank account must be via a U.S. bank. We do not accept any online money transfer services such as Wise, Revolut, PayPal, Western Union, Passbook by Remitly, CurrencyFair, etc.; only using regular bank accounts such as checking or savings accounts is accepted. You may not link third-party bank accounts, such as a business account (even if your name is on the account). Not available for Simple IRA, SEP IRA, ESA Accounts, or Investment Club accounts.

Transfer an account from another financial institution
It is now easier than ever to move your financial assets from another broker, bank, or mutual fund to Perception Capital HK:
What You'll Need
- The name and account number of your existing brokerage firm.
- A matching account – the account type of your existing brokerage account must match with your Perception Capital HK account. If you don't already have a matching Perception Capital HK Account, please open an account first.

Check Depositing Guidelines
If you are depositing a check into your new or existing Perception Capital HK brokerage account via mail, please be sure to follow these guidelines:
- Make all checks payable to Perception Capital HK Securities.
- All checks must be made payable in U.S. dollars and payable through a U.S. bank.
Acceptable Deposits include:
- Personal checks drawn from personal checking accounts titled exactly the same as the Perception Capital HK account you are funding.
- Checks from joint checking accounts may be deposited into either checking account holders brokerage account.
- Checks from an individual checking account of either joint brokerage account holder may be deposited into that joint brokerage account.
- Bank, Teller, or Cashiers checks made payable to Perception Capital HK Securities (as long as the remitters name is the same as that of the account title at Perception Capital HK).
- Checks from investment club accounts should be drawn from a checking account in the name of the investment club. If a member of the investment club remits a personal check, the check must be payable to: "Perception Capital HK Securities FBO [investment club name].
Unacceptable Deposits include:
- Third party checks drawn from a checking account other than the brokerage account holder(s) or made payable to the brokerage account holder and endorsed over to Perception Capital HK Securities.
- Double-endorsed checks (checks with more than one signature on the back).
- Personal checks deposited into a corporate brokerage account and vice-versa.
- Starter checks.
- Money orders.
- Any foreign instruments (checks, travelers checks, drafts, etc.).
- Stale-dated checks (over three months old).
- Checks which appear altered in any way.
- Coin or currency.
Unacceptable deposits cannot be credited to your account and will be returned.
*Note: These are only guidelines; other situations may arise when a remittance is deemed acceptable or unacceptable.
Fund Availability
Personal or Company Checks
- Funds deposited via cashier's/bank checks will be available for trading immediately upon depositing.
- Funds deposited via personal checks will be available for trading on the 5th business day of deposit.
- A ten-business-day hold is placed on all new deposits. You may not withdraw the funds until the hold time has elapsed.
